The client platforms

Two platforms. One organized record of the work.

Engagements run on two platforms we configure and brand for each client: a capital platform for equity, data rooms and e-signature, and a knowledge workspace for the working papers behind them.

The platforms

What you will work in.

Both platforms are set up around your engagement scope, carry your company’s branding, and are available to the people and advisers you choose.

Equity · data rooms · e-signature · reporting

Capital platform

One workspace for the company’s equity, fundraising and investor documents. Management, advisers and, where agreed, investors work from the same current information, so nobody relies on an old version.

  • A cap table across share classes, options and convertibles, with ownership shown fully diluted.
  • Data rooms organized around what an investor or buyer will ask to see.
  • Electronic signature: upload, send and track documents through to completion.
  • Reports on who has opened what, with activity and audit trails behind them.

Working papers · procedures · decisions

Knowledge workspace

Where the thinking behind the documents lives. Operating procedures, decision papers and meeting notes are written once, kept current and easy to find.

  • Collections and nested documents for procedures, decision papers and registers.
  • Drafts kept apart from published pages, with views for what changed recently and what is read most.
  • Search across every collection the team has access to, with an excerpt for each result.
  • A clean basis for the handover documentation at the end of the engagement.

In practice

How we use them with you.

01

Set up around the scope

We configure the structure, branding and access rules of both platforms to match the work agreed in the engagement scope.

02

Shared with the right people

Management, your appointed advisers and others you nominate see what they need, and no more.

03

Handover agreed in advance

What happens to the platforms at the end of the engagement is set out in the scope, not left to chance.

Why it matters

Diligence is easier when the record is already in order.

Investors, buyers and auditors ask for the same information many times. Keeping it in one organized place, with a history of what changed and who answered what, saves the management team from rebuilding the picture under pressure.

The platforms support the work. They do not replace the professional advice the company obtains from its own lawyers and accountants.

Common questions

About the platforms.

Will they carry our branding?

Yes. Both platforms are configured for each client, with the company’s name and identity in place of ours.

Who decides who can see what?

You do, with our help at set-up. Access is agreed by person and by folder, and can be changed as the engagement develops.

Are they included in the fee?

The scope states what is included and whether any third-party costs apply. Those are identified separately, as with other providers.

What happens when the engagement ends?

The handover is agreed in the scope. We set out in advance what you keep, in what form, and who looks after it.
